MFNC is excited to announce that Anthony Matthews will return to the field in 2023 after having last season off.
There aren’t many bigger names around the Club than this man – 250 games, Life Member, McLeod Medalist, Premiership player, former coach and leading goal kicker time and time again. Ant has been a match winner, club stalwart and a great leader for many years.
Ant has the hunger to go around for another year and will be a key target up forward, both in his ability to kick goals and create opportunities for crumbing forwards. His presence, strong marking ability and leadership will be important for our group and will no doubt make everyone ‘walk a bit taller’.
We also look forward to seeing KT back at the footy and their beautiful little girl Ivy.
